About Dr. Konecny
Board-certified Jiri Konecny, DO, FACOS, brings more than 25 years of experience in plastic surgery and aesthetics to Estea Medspa, serving patients in Long Beach, California. As the medical director of Estea Medspa, Dr. Konecny provides a full offering of aesthetic services, including non-surgical anti-aging solutions like injectables and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Konecny began his professional pursuits at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following graduation, he decided to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Konecny enrolled at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Konecny completed a three-year fellowship in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Hills, New Jersey. He completed a rotating internship at Pacific Hospital in Long Beach, California, and a residency in general surgery at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York. Dr. Konecny excelled, earning the title of chief resident.
He always dedicates time for a thorough initial consultation, listening to his patient’s unique goals and desires. After asking a series of questions and gathering necessary insights, Dr. Konecny develops custom treatment plans for each patients’ individual needs.
